  1. I didn't know this..but DJ Rap is a girl! Think she's coming up at Red soon...wonder if she's any good..
  2. I don't know if this is on the list... I hate, and I mean HATE WITH A PASSION - any car with super bright head lights:mad: Its one thing to be safe and have visible head lights. But I swear I feel like I've got jumbo jets tailing me sometimes...especially when poor lil o me don't have one of those advanced anti glare mirrors
  3. why Weyes, for a New Yorker(?) you sure are knowledgeable about CA's history. But let's not forget the real ice cream milk shakes! I rate In N Out up there, above Fatburger and waaaaay above Micky Ds! For those of you that have not frequented this fine food establishment, I recommend the 4 x 4! ITs 4 pieces of beef and cheese. Just say "I want it Animal Style!"
  4. Isn't that true for everything we eat? Well, except for your lover/ significant other
  5. a good friend is having a birthday get together. We're thinking dinner and dancing. Anyone recommend a nice club to head out to? Not Spundae or Giant - too kick back. Somewhere a little bit more upscale but can still chill and hangout to some rocking vibe. Anywhere like that? This is where all you CP legends are put to the test. Come on people...dont fail me now! :D
  6. Haha..In N Out is a old school burger joint in CA. They only have chains in the west coast - mainly CA and a few in Nevada. Ofcourse with a name like In N Out, it could be anything outside of Cali
  7. actually, they've been getting plenty of down pour up north. Tahoe's swimming in snow right now...sigh. So snow deprived
  8. I've been wondering the same myself. Whatever happened to "the kid"? So Cal can use a good snow dump! El Nino has definitely lost much of the furry compared to the first time around. No. Cal is seeing plenty of action though... Weyes - instead of the sunshine, you can always talk about the beaches here..hehe :D
  9. Sassa: what's class got to do with good ol time? Weyes: I can probably get some discounted tix. Let me know ASAP if you're interested...
  10. Anyone headed to the Mayan this Thursday night? I know its a week night, but with line ups like Satoshi Tomeiie and Dave Ralph. If anyone is going or thinking about going let me know...I may be able to get you some hook ups:D :D Until then...
  11. Just want to give a shout out to y'all in the Houston area. I'll be flying in this Friday, 1/10 and staying for the weekend. Would greatly appreciate some pointers on places to go, and thing to see while in town. Especially the night life. Show your love, Houston! Much thanks p's out
  12. I went through similar shit with a girl. Almost went down the marriage path, and like you I decided to dissolve it. What I've come to learn is that although your parents will disapprove/ disappoint, eventually they do want you to be happy. It may take some adjustment, but over time I'm sure parents will accept your girl for who she is. You can't live your life for someone else, no matter how well your intentions are...But You're still young. You'll meet other girls...
  13. You poor thing. Hope this doesn't affect your oral abilities
  14. Spundae on New Year's night has a good line up. But really, who'll have the energy to go out when most of us will still be recovering from the night before? I was fortunate enough to get hooked up with a special $40 ticket for Giant. So it'll be PVD for the 3rd year in a row. I figure if he dissapoints, Crystal Method should rock the house. I'm just praying that it doesn't rain...
  15. I believe North Cal has 2 basketball teams as well - Warriors, and the Queens..err, I mean Kings Hockey wise, we got the other Kings in LA, Sharks in SJ, and the mighty Ducks of Anaheim (damn Disney had to assert their family value spin on sports..) There are talks of bringing a football team back to LA. But that would be in the waaay distant future though. In the mean time, we'll just have to make do with the various dining, entertainment, and outdoor pleasures CA has to offer..muhahaha
  16. All of the above are great points for loving Cali. In short, we have diverse selection of, well, everything - for everyone! From the posh Hollywood scene to the great outdoors. All wraped in a 70~80 degree climate. How can anyone not love Cali? And even if all that is somehow striped away from us, there's still one thing - Da LAKERS!!! Enough said.
  17. It sounds like you're pretty acquainted with the major clubs in LA/ Hollywood. The other place I would also recommend is Sugar. Its a small but cozy venue that one can go to hang out. I think 99.9% of clubbers(maybe I'm exaggerating), myself included, are going to Giant for NYE. Spundae's New Years Day venue also has some big name DJ sets. As far as promoters goes..I know people behind the scenes of one of the fastest growing party venues - Jello. Not as grandiose as Spundae or Giant yet, but they definitely put on a good time for the goers. Let me know if thats of interest to you and I'll see what I can arrange. BTW, are the lovely ladies coming to LA with you? We can never get enough of silicone here in Tinsletown... p's out T

  19. Well it looks like I missed out on Weyes' semi German yellow/ orange shirt flaunting on the dance floor, all y'all other CPers, and the ECB For those of you that caught a glimpse of Weyes in all her 5' 10" glory, or other CPer rendenzvous, chime in! !
  20. 9:30? Try 8:30 where does one sign up for this $5 guest list?
  21. BUMP? Set and Spike??? I would most definitely make an effort to try to go. After all, how often do you get a chance to meet fellow CPers? Well ok, I prolly bump into some of you here and there without knowing...That damn Thursday night thing is a problem though
  22. Hahaha...narcing up the wrong tree...where do you come up with these???
  23. Don't dis unless you can come up with something better, newbie! Kinda pathetic but funny. Restores faith to all us who've been shut down before...(and thats all of us)
  24. Hmm..never been out on a week night before. But the price and line up and the potential crowd makes this all the more enticing Who else is up for this? And whats an ecb???
  25. "Out there and back" is a classic. Politics of Dance kicks thing up a notch (Bam!) Heard about the mid summer PVD appearance. Rumored some odd 3am till dawn hours. Woulda love to be there..
