I haven't been on these boards in awhile, that's why I ask. How has Black been in the past weeks? Has it been packed or dead? Do most feel it's worth going to check out or not? I was going to the city soon that's why I ask. If not then what would be better? I know everyone has a difference of opinion in regards to this issue which will make for an interesting thread. Please feel free to share if you can help make my decision easier.

The reason I ask is because I heard a lot of people say that a cd for that night would be coming out soon. This was the last night I was at SF so it would be nice to have a cd to go hand in hand w/ my memories of that place. Is this an ongoing "played out" rumor or is there validity to this statement? If anyone knows and cares to share please do. I'm just tired of going to stores and trying to look for something that may never exist you know!!

That was the last time I went to SF and I heard many people say that a cd compilation from this party would be coming out soon. My question is if this is a played out rumor or if in fact a cd is on the way out soon? If anyone knows a little more about this then I do feel free and share. I don't want to waste time looking for this cd in stores if it's never going to come out.

I haven't been on these boards in ages, because of exams and all, but I felt the need to return. I'm sure people can't wait for this weekend!! Anyways my question is I have a lot of cd's but not that many of Tenaglia's sets. If I decided to start collecting his compilations which ones are a "must" have? I know there are many Tenaglia fanatics on these boards so please feel free to share your opinion on this topic. The same goes for Carl Cox. Which cd's of his should I have to add to my collection?

So what's the name of this new club? What music will they play and what will the cover be? What type of crowd do they want to bring in? Let us know when you find out.

No matter where you go there are always going to be more meatheads than females. It's always a sausage joust trying to get to the women. That's just the way it is!!

I thought you were being sarcastic at first but I guess you really messed up your ankle I guess? How did that happen? I give you mad props for trying to dance with one good foot now. I guess the music was that dope? The music like owned you? To me it all depends on my mood. I like the superclub thing from time to time, but sometimes I don't. I like going to lounges but w/ the right people of course because lounges are more to be seen than just dance. Going w/ a good size group is key. I don't think I would go to a lounge by myself unless I was meeting up w/more people there. I love NYC' s variety too. It's what makes nightlife in the city unique. Chances are if I were to see you dancing you would knock me out with your crutches by accident. I don't want to end up in crutches either! Good luck with your foot. You must hate those crutches by now? I'm sure you want to dance like your capable of? I wouldn't go out to a club if I had to wear crutches. Your a damn trooper.

Damn Pandora are you always making headlines? You love those pics!! How did you get in crutches anyways? As for Centro Fly, why did it close down? Another one bites the dust. It seems like all the original clubs in NYC either have been shut down or are on there way to being shut down? I don't know why the hurry? Can't we enjoy them first? I think there are other things out there that the gov't should target other than drugs in a club scene or the club scene itself. Unreal that another club is layed to rest.

If you had gone to SF when it was really underground it was no crack den. I had a lot of great times at SF, and you would of enjoyed it as well too. At the beginning it had it all including a great vibe & music. The crowd was full of beautiful people too. Like Pandora said the younger kiddies and new crowds ruined what was once a great party. They tried replacing the original crowds w/younger and careless crowds. A crowd of hardcore & irresponsible druggies!! Big mistake!! There are a lot of clubs that I haven't been to as you can see and I can't go to all of them in one night. I have not decided if I'm going down to the city yet, but chances are I will. I'll let you know if I decide to head down there. I guess Avalon is the smallest club of all the clubs I mentioned? Is Avalon the best of those 4 on Sat nights?

Just what I thought. Was the crowd the same or different? Many guys/girls? Black won't always be packed. There will be "off" nights too. So when will the next theme party at Black be? As for pacing yourself for this or any other afterhours party you have to get plenty of rest the day b4. If not you will be passing out all over the place!!

I wouldn't say it's gorgeous, but it's nice. I wish it was a little bigger though. I prefer Sat nights over Fri nights. I have not been there on Fri nights in awhile. Maybe it's good? The girls that go there are slammin and it's usually a good time. I'd recommend people who haven't been there and have heard good things about it come check it out!!

Do you have any pics from that party as you were jammin away? Who spun that night anyways? I guess you had a good time? What's going on now at Centrofly?

Since you referred to CT. I was in New Haven on Fri night and went to Alchemy's. It was pretty good, but their staff told me that Sats are better than Fridays. I think Louie Devito was at Mist across the street. I wouldn't pay to see him, he' NOT a real dj if you ask me. It looked like a decent amount of people where coming out of there though. There are a ton of decent clubs in New Haven. If you want to check out another good club in CT you should check out club Mor in Stamford, CT. A ton of people from Westchester go there. It's not big, but the people there are mad cool and it's usually a good time.

Sounds to me like it was just an OK night or a mediocre night at best? To me it's weird that they had the rest of the floors closed off? Maybe there were NOT enough people on the main floor even w/ the other floors being closed off? What was the crowd like? When is the next theme party at Black? May check it out.

The lack of hitting killed us in this series. Sat's loss was awful because Brown and the bullpen did their jobs for the most part. We put up a fight that went extra innings, but for nothing. When you can't hit as a team, it puts a ton of pressure on the starters and the bullpen to have to throw up zero after zero, inning after inning. In today's game Vasquez put together a quality performance and he still came up short. Pedro did not bring his A game, but he still won because we could not hit. For those who can't remember we got 5 runs off Pedro w/o A-Rod or Sheff in last year's game 7 ALCS to knock him out of the game. We can't keep wasting good starts by our rotation because those pitchers may struggle later in the year and the offense will have to pick them up when they struggle. They look like a bunch of overpaid bums out there. I guess we expected them to gel right away. Last year they got off to a great start and then started to free fall in May and June. Well this year, it's a little earlier I guess. Hopefully we will win a game soon, I hope. I can't stand losing to Bastan , but they are the better team right now. The season is long and tedious and Bastan will go into a slump also. Every team does. Blowsux fans can enjoy this asskicking all they want but we all know what happens in the end. It's like day light savings time: in spring you turn your clocks forward, in fall back. Bastan will slump in Sept, down the stretch.

I like going to were the party's at!! I liked going to SF, but since it's no longer open I guess Black or another hot spot will do. I went to Webster's hall once, but everyone says it terrible, I thought it was ok. I liked Centrofly went there one NYE. I know that it's been renovated. Also have been to Discoteque and that is now being renovated too. I want to check out Black,Crobar, Avalon, and Spirit and decide out of all these 4, which is more my style. Once I have done that more than likely I will have found my new night spot. The clubs to me are about the music and the crowd. If the music is good and the crowd is not my style, I can deal with it for one night. If the crowd is good looking, but the music is whack I can deal with it, but I probably won't go there again. Like I said b4 everyone on CP has there own perspective of what they look for when they go out clubbin.

I would have liked to have gone and met you and others, but instead chose to stay local. Where do most of the CP heads go anyways? Everyone here is very selective w/ where they go out to. Hope you had fun. How does that one legged crutch walking booty dance go again?

My real good friends are people who have known me my whole life other than my direct family. Some kids from HS too. Then comes another group of friends I met at NU in Bastan. Then I have friends who I got out with that are locals from the area. Most of my good friends from HS or my childhood are either married and bored or single and lonely. No happiness for them!! They can't do much of anything, but if they want to work out with me I'll take it. The others I have never heard from again. The local heads are troopers and I am trying to get them into going out to the city more often. My boys who I met in Bastan now live in the city and each do there own thing, but they do like to go out. The only thing is that they all have different tastes in going out. Some like afterhours parties, others are more into upscale lounges, and others just like to go to clubs w/o afterhours, and some like sports bars. It makes all different and unique and switch it up form time to time. Most of the people from this board are really into clubbin. I have yet to meet anyone from these boards!!
