My real good friends are people who have known me my whole life other than my direct family. Some kids from HS too. Then comes another group of friends I met at NU in Bastan. Then I have friends who I got out with that are locals from the area. Most of my good friends from HS or my childhood are either married and bored or single and lonely. No happiness for them!! They can't do much of anything, but if they want to work out with me I'll take it. The others I have never heard from again. The local heads are troopers and I am trying to get them into going out to the city more often. My boys who I met in Bastan now live in the city and each do there own thing, but they do like to go out. The only thing is that they all have different tastes in going out. Some like afterhours parties, others are more into upscale lounges, and others just like to go to clubs w/o afterhours, and some like sports bars. It makes us all different and unique and have to switch it up from time when we hang out. Most of the people from this board are really into clubbin. I have yet to meet a person from these boards!! That may change soon though.

Agreed. I hope he can pack this club for crying out loud. It should NOT be that hard to do this time around. He had problems packing Exit and SF. If JR can't pack discotheque he might as well retire!!

I know there are going to be two closing parties at Arc this weekend my question is which of the two is going to be the better of the two? Never been here b4. Is Arc in the village? I know most will go to both, but if you had to choose one which one would you go to?

I agree. Some of the stuff on his cds were good tracks but he's NO dj. He's got NO talent, but he is a good business man though. He was at the right place at the right time and is making good money from these compilations. Listen some are new to the club scene and think because he's from NYC that he's good. In CT the club scene is weak so give some of the people from here a break. For some do NOT know what's up!!

Exactly. Silverbull speaks the truth. I was an SF head back in the day and I don't sound or think like this chooch NOT ALL THERE does. I have an open mind when it comes to other djs and styles. I like Tenaglia too. Just because you like JP does not mean all the other djs stink!! There are djs like Cox, Oakenfold, and Tiesto that are more world reknown and better than JP and I still like JP. The fans who think JP is the best dj in the world are wrong and in some cases ignorant. The people who make opinions and decisions b4 all the facts are presented to them are fools. Dance music is now like a religion, there are soo many styles and djs to pick and choose from. My opinion is to each his own. I didn't hear JP until 97 but, how did he play in 95 & 96?

If you danced with heels on I give you mad props because I don't know how some girls can do that for hours? Don't you get blisters on your feet or something? Ouch!! I wish I had made that party but, my question is if there will be another theme party at Black in the weeks to come? I haven't been to Black since NYE.

So can you pick up this CD at your local FYE,Tower Records, or HMV? How much does it cost and I guess the track selection is not the best? The Halloween party I thought was great but they probably chose to select the worst tracks of the whole night because people will buy the cd just because it was an SF theme party cd. I thought the music was good that night IMO!!

Have not been to Crobar yet and I wanted to know which are the best nights to go on and whom are the resident DJ's at each of the nights? Also if someone can include the dress code and crowd, it would really help me out. Any input on Crobar would be very helpful!!

I wish I could go but I can't. Have exams next week. Will there be another theme party at Black in the future? Probably?

C'mon Liz we all knew you fell!! Anyways what looks to be the popular choice here are Diesels or Kenneth Coles. I wear Nikes. How much do Diesels cost anyways? No matter what though if the floor is wet you are going to slip and slide no matter where you are on a slippery surface. I DON'T like to slip occasionaly when I'm dancing, but it happens. Totally messes up my dance moves!!
