i thnk H&M is more like "Hit or Miss" but actually i went to the new H&M ton 57 abnd Lex today and was amazed. i thought the womens assortment looked great. i know what i am buying (fast fashion, cheap!!) so i dont have high expectations on the quality.. but i have some pieces from there that i constantly get compliments or "where did you get that" and some really unique pieces that i have never seen from any other line, designer or brand. (note: i usually just stick to tops... id rather spend $$ on quality pants, skirts, etc)
the H&m in the burbs.. i wouldnt even bother... my favorite one is actaully the 5th ave one across from St patricks (which is their flagship store). Just last week they launched their Karl Lagerfield (chanel, fendi) line and it sold out that day !
btw... to answer your question.. H&M worldwide and they make money the Walmart way.. mass merchandising! except i believe their american stores have not posted a profit, yet.

I don't. I went there 2 montsh ago because it was a last minute thing. I got makeup on my top and i was going to Nobu, so I needed a new top. Plain black stretch top. really cute and 9$. but there clothes are made horribly. Just like many other companys. I hate H&M

a new one opened by my job (58th and lex). the jeans there are pricey considering the quality ($50 a pair...same for courderoys). i'd rather spend that money at the Zara or Levis stores across the street.

every time i've ever gone into that store i see absolutely nothing but crap. im a guy so i can't vouch for how good the women's stuff is, but as far as picking something out for myself it's impossible. i was at the one in the city and i know they have a few around, how the hell they stay in business i have no idea. has anyone every bought any decent clothes in there?

so i actually went in there today...clothes were bad but i did pick up a lot of little make-up/acessories gifts for my friends!!! and i love their snoopy undies but clothes are terrible

so Hector sees me dancing and points and me, invites me up to the stage!!!! so im chillin with this guy then out of nowhere my friggin IDOL shows up. i actually got to chill with Satoshi and Hector all night up on stage. it was the most amazing fucking time ive ever had in my life. got to ask satoshi lots of questions, he was showing me all these cool unreleased vinyls he had (lucky bastard lol). so hector finishes and satoshi gets on the decks. i have never seen someone more technically perfect on the decks in my life guys is a fucking master . nicest dude in the world too. so its like 3 am whatever...and guess who jumps up on stage and shows up to support tomiie......jonathan fucking peters ....funniest shit ever....never expected that!!
