  1. now in the coming weeks we're going to promos for new year's events in the city. the majority of these events will require you to take out a loan just to pay the cover charge. as much as i would like to go to these events, i have to skip out, because i'm broke. i want to know if there is anything that's good and affordable going on in the city for new years. it should be at least relativley cheap, no more than $50. let me know, thanks.
  2. carl cox is awsome, i have his Global cd. i highly recommend to people to get that.
  3. it is very rare when we see a performer can virtually read the mind of the crowd and use it to make the crowd go wild. danny is definitley one of those performers. the guy is such a crowd pleaser, and those who say clubbing in nyc is dead, have not gone to arc when he's spinning.
  4. let's try it one more time. and if it doesn't work, then fu*k it.
  5. sorry about that, let's try that one more time:D
  6. hi welcome to clubplanet, grab yourself a beer and make yourself at home 3:-0
  7. let's try that one more time. my computer sucks:mad:
  8. you guys would be surprised at what kind of women actually pay guys for sex. i used to think just fat ugly girls or housewives that don't get any from their husbands are the only type of women that will pay for sex. however, last year i read in LOADED about a guy in the uk that was a male escort. usually women pay him to take them out. he wines and dines them, listen to them bitch and moan about the world, and then he has sex with them. it was an interesting article. the guy looked really ordinary, he was no enrique or anything like that. plus the girls that went out with him were not bad looking at all. so check it out.
  9. i can't believe nobody said his name yet. DANNY HOWELLS!!! the guy is fu*kn' awsome. i love his sets at arc and his renaissance cd is off the hook. nick warren also does a great job on the compilation. i also like sasha and digweed, but i have to give danny the top nod.
  10. i personally like octopus and salmon:)
  11. hey, lite fm is a lot better than what my old supervisor used listen to, RUSH LIMBAUGH. God, i can't stand that guy, he's such a moron. i'll take phil collins any day over listening to rush's relentless vendeta against bill clinton-nevermind the guy has been out of office for two years. fortunatley at my next job, i was able to listen to my own cd's. it's kinda fun to listen to digweed, while doing office work. once you take off the headphones, everything seems a LOT slower.
  12. KILL'EM ALL AND LET GOD SORT IT OUT!!!!!!! that's what america is all about:D
  13. once shakira came on to the scene, i totally forgot about christina, as well as every other bimbo in hollywood.
  14. there was this one girl at the gym who would talk to me to the point where she would chew my ear off. it is damn annoying, when you want to get a serious workout. sometimes she would get on the exercise bike next to me and start talking. now, i don't like it when people talk to me when i'm doing cardio. if you got something quick to say when i'm working out, say it and i'll nod my head, but that's it. also, i know this is wrong, but there is a very good reason why she goes to the gym. she's quite hefty and i would probably more tolerant of her if she was more attractive. however, she talks about mindless bullsh!t that i could care less about. when she talks i have to make some sort of excuse to get away, usually i tell her i have to go to the bathroom. she probably thinks i have a really bad bladder. but hey i do what i can to get away from her.
  15. valentine should've stayed and phillips should've been fired. phillips really distroyed the pitching they had two years ago, when they won the pennant. he brought in too many big names at once which killed the team's chemistry. yeah, valentine could've done more to motivate the guys, but the problem was too many guys trying to get used to each other really quick. now phillips have to get better pitching in the off season and hopefully mo vaughn and roberto alomar will learn how to play defense. then the mets will do great next season. i hope bobby v. get's another managing job, somebody's got notice bobby's achievements in new york.
  16. i have the old edmonton oilers jersey, and the old quebec nordiques jersey.
  17. of course i need to get laid, what else is new.
  18. not a lot of towns have the championships that new york has the sports tradition of new york. look at la, aside from the laker dinasties and a couple of dodger championships, they don't got much else. chicago, i hope they enjoyed those bulls titles, because they're not going to see anything like that for a long time. philadelphia, if you watch comcast sportsnet, you'd think dr. j, bobby clarke, and mike schmidt still plays in philly. new york is a lot better than alot of other towns.
  19. the season has yet to begin, and when it's all said and done the RANGERS are going to be on top.
  20. techno really has gone far into the mainstream as it can go, which is not far. i think it's going back into the underground now, which is a good thing. it will allow dj's to be more creative and more dj's to enter the scene. the clubs are going to be better, people who go will actually dance. i think clubs are going to be more like arc, where the dress code will be more laid back and they may not even bother getting a liquer license, so that will make teens be able to go. while techno is seem to be "dying" in the mainstream's eyes, it's not dying in the underground. just look at how successful sasha & digweed's delta heavy tour was. to make it in the american mainstream you have to LOOK GOOD. look at the top dj's, none of them are an enrique inglesias or a justin timberlake. digweed is the most average looking guy in the world, he looks like every other brit. in a issue of URB , they had a picture of timo maas, with a double chin. danny tenanglia is a fat, bald, and old by industry standards. nick warren looks like somebody's dad. and danny howells is so skinny and lanky, that he could pass for an AIDS patient. i hate to paint a negative picture of these guys, because from reading interviews and going on their websites, they're great people who know how to play great music. the reality is, to get the public to like your music, they have to like your looks. you can only glamorize techno so much, how many ways can you make turning knobs look cool. with a guitar you can do all sorts of stuff with it, but you can't smash and burn your mixer. in electronic scene, the emphasis is on the audience. that doesn't market the dj's well, because the emphasis has to be on them.
  21. of course they cannot elaborate on it, because there is nothing to elaborate on. whenever the bush administration says they have proof that iraq has links to al-qaida, it ends up turning to be false. if they did have real evidence, then why not share it with the un? most european nations are willing to help if the us shows the evidence. anybody who knows anything about saddam hussien, is that he will do whatever it takes to stay alive and in power. saddam is so concerned with staying in power that he has even killed his own son-in-law on charges of treason. joining forces with al-qaida would be suicide for him, because if al-qaida has it's way, saddam's baath party would be abolished and a caliphate would be established in iraq. the baath party is a pan-arab socialistic party(syria is also led by the baath party), it is secular, saddam even has christians among his rankings. all of this is scene as haram(sinful) to bin ladin and his followers. in fact al-qaida has been known with collaborating with kurdish militants, who may take over if a "regime change" occurs. one must love the possible irony of al-qaida supported militants take over iraq(or a kurdish state) with the help of americans invading iraq. the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" philosophy does not work here, especially when it comes to dictators and zealots. bin ladin and hussein are men who are guided by their beliefs, neither of them is willing enough to compromise their beliefs to join forces and fight the us.
  22. when i was 13 i got in a fight with this kid, so myfriends and i slashed the tires of his parents' car. they called the cops, but my parents made a settlement with the kid's parents, so they dropped the charges.
  23. from time to time i would have a goatee. being of indian origin, if i have a scruf for more than a week, i'll look like an al-qaida terrorist. so in an effort not to have people call the authorities on me, i keep a clean face:D
  24. in other sports: football: Fran Tarkenton/OJ Simpson(don't laugh)/Dan Marino baseball: Earnie Banks/Don Mattingly basketball: Patrick Ewing/John Stockton/Karl Malone other hockey players: Peter Stasny, Dale Howerchuck(spelling?), Tony Esposito, Michel Goulet
