I've been hearing that birth order in families affects the personalities of siblings and their relationships throughout life. What can you tell me about it? Undoubtedly birth order affects us all. But as fascinating as it may be, birth order simply isn't the predictor for determining happiness, success and gratifying relationships. Nonetheless, some glaring personality traits seem to be related to the order of a person's arrival in a family. If you're the oldest, you're probably: * Most likely to succeed [Highly doubt that...] * Most conscientious and reliable [That's true...] * Conservative [Not at all...] * Self-critical[isn't everyone?!] * A perfectionist [sometimes...] * Able to enjoy the company of older people [Old people love me ...] * The link between your parents and siblings [?!? Mmkay...] In addition, oldest children are: * Seldom allowed to be just kids--their parents continually push them ahead and expect the most from them [Ain't that the fckin truth...] * Often dethroned by younger siblings [True...] * Convinced their siblings will outshine them [At the rate lil bros going, I doubt it...]

But I remember coming home after a LONG night, looking in the mirror... and it looked like someone beat me with a baseball bat on both sides of my neck. My face was pale white (cuz I naturally have no color..) and my neck looked like Dracula had a Thanksgiving feast on me. To get them off... anyone have any ideas for future reference? I think I've tried to comb them off, spoon them off, ice them off... Turtlenecks are good but I think they look kind of odd in the summertime. Anything work?!
