    Happy Easter

We just wanted to wish everyone on the message board a Happy Easter.
  2. I got into Ra a few times wearing Adidas sweat suits with Adidas shoes with fat laces when it was one of the top spots to be. Actually, one of the times was on a Wednesday and Paul Van Dyke was spinning. I had to see how far I could push the envelope.
  3. It is hard to make this comparison because both venues have very different atmospheres. The Foundation Room is a lounge with a very laid back feel to it, where Jet has more of a "party" feel. In my opinion, patrons of Jet seem like people that come out to party hard into the early hours of the morning, drinking, dancing, getting crazy, etc. Patrons of the Foundation Room go out to have a good time, but the atmosphere tends to tone things down, making everyone more relaxed.

    Ra@Luxor

It is true that Ra isn't the club that it used to be. This will change in about 9 months when the Pure Group reopens Ra under their management reign.
  5. lol. That is a good question.

I have to agree with epope. Jet gets slammed every night that they are open (Friday through Monday). There is no room at all to move around. Tryst also gets slammed, but their outdoor area around the lake gives you a breath of fresh air, leaving you enough room to relax.
  7. Memorial Day weekend is great in Las Vegas. There's a special event in just about every venue. When you do decide which clubs you want to go, especially if you plan on reserving a table, book extra early. Memorial Day weekend is one of the 4 busiest weekends in Las Vegas.
  8. I have to agree with bigdaddy and epope. All of the people that we work with in the clubs are good friends of ours as well, but we wouldn't dare insult them with a $50 tip for bottle service, even for a party of all females. I'm sure the club appreciates those high-end clients spending a lot of money in their club, but from the perspective of the host, it really doesn't matter how much a client spends inside the club because they make most of their money from their tips. At each of the top 5 venues in Las Vegas (Tao, Tryst, Pure, Jet, and Body English), there is a stand-by list for tables. They can easily sell your table to another person and get a $300 tip instead of $50. One of the most important aspects of this business is taking care of people.

Our personal favorite venue in Las Vegas is Tao. We have sent a number of clients to Tao and they have all been pleased. We also love the setup and class of Tryst. If it will be your and girlfriend, you have to decide which mood you are trying to set. If you want to be in a "sexy" environment, we would suggest Tryst first and foremost. If you want to go to a classy venue with a few different types of music to choose from, we would suggest Tao. Pure is a great club, but it get's beyond uncomfortably packed. We went by Pure on Saturday around 12:30 and there was roughly 1,000 people in front of the club trying to get in. Everyone wants to go to Pure because they hear that it's the "place to be." Unfortunately, the "place to be" is so crowded, it's nearly impossible to walk through the club, and definitely impossible to dance. Tao, Tryst, and Jet also get crowded, but there is still a bit of room to move.
  10. Even though you reserved a table, I suggest that you get to Pure around 10:00 p.m. when the club opens because if you get there too late, they will bump your reservation and sell your table to someone else. They have a stand-by list for tables that is at least 50 people long. Jet is a good venue. If you've ever been to Light before, you'll be able to picture what Jet is like, except Jet has 3 rooms instead of 1. If you have anymore questions, or need help getting into a venue, you can contact us at mr_vip_lasvegas@hotmail.com
  11. Pure is always slammed, no matter what day you go. The number of males and females in your group will make a difference in how quickly you get in, or if you get in at all. Here is a lineup of clubs that we and everyone else in the scene would suggest to you: Tao @ the Venetian------------------Thursday - Saturday Tryst @ Wynn-----------------------Thursday - Sunday Body English @ the Hard Rock-------Friday - Sunday Jet @ the Mirage---------------------Friday - Monday Afterhours: Seamless @ Tropicana and Arville-----nightly from 4:00 a.m. till morning ------------(also doubles as a strip club before 4:00 a.m.) Empire Ballroom across from Monte Carlo --------------------------------------------Friday and Saturday late night
  12. Actually, they're spending closer to $5 per bottle because they buy in bulk, but who's counting. It is a fact that bottle service can be an expensive venture, but people have to take into account what they are getting for their dollar: a private booth for their party, bottles of alcohol at their tables and a cocktail server that prevents them from having to stand at the bar, security around their private space, but most importantly - to be treated like a VIP. There are a number of people who would say that bottle service is a waste of money, but it all depends on what you plan to get out of the experience. If you like being the center of attention and getting pampered, bottle service is for you. VIP entry into a venue is also a great thing. When I first got into the scene and went out every night of the week, it was a rush to be able to walk past a 2 hour line an walk into the club within about a minute. There are plenty of people that want to experience this feeling, and they should at least once. As hosts in Las Vegas, we like to make people that we work with, including clients and venue contacts, as happy as possible. We always make it a point to be straight forward and honest with each of our clients, guiding them to make the right decision between VIP entry and bottle service, as well as choosing the right venue for their taste. On the other end, it pleases our venue contacts to see happy clients enjoying their bottles of alcohol at their reserved table as opposed to seeing them disgruntled, waiting at the bar for a drink. The bottom line is that popular venues appreciate it when hosts bring in bottle parties as opposed to only VIP entries.
  13. Friday - (Anywhere is good, but here are a few top suggestions) Tao - (great music and atmosphere) Pure Body English Tryst - (great atmosphere, very sexy) Jet - (3 rooms, 3 types of music) Tangerine Ice - (main type of music is electronica) Light OPM - (hip hop king of Las Vegas) Empire Afterhours - (Club Utopia-esque atmosphere) Seamless Afterhours- (strip club/nightclub combo with a great afterhours) Saturday - Tao, Pure, Body English, Tryst, Jet, Tangerine, Ice, Light, OPM, Empire Afterhours, Seamless Afterhours Sunday - Tryst (this is our favorite for a Sunday), Body English, Light Monday Foundation Room, Jet, Seamless Afterhours Tuesday - Studio 54 is decent, but it's not what it was. The place to be on Tuesday is Pure We hope this will help to point you in the right direction.
  14. It is true that bottle service isn't for everyone. In fact, many would argue that it is too much to pay for a night at a club. On the other hand, if you are looking for comfort, room to move, and an area to sit with your friends, bottle service is definitely the way to go.
  15. Body English is a popular spot. If you wanted bottle service, the bottles start at $375 and they have a 3 people per 1 bottle ratio. For a table reservation, definitely make you reservation in advance because they sell our fairly quickly.
  16. This comment hit the nail on the head. To be an effective VIP host in Las Vegas, or anywhere else, it's necessary to personally network on a regular basis, to keep strong relationships with contacts. For the most part, many of the people who we do business with were our friends before they were our business contacts. We still make an effort to go out to the clubs to show our faces and talk to the people who take care of us. As they say, actions speak louder than words.
  17. Tao is also a great venue for bottle service. Their booths by the dance floor are very nice, as well as being right in the middle of the action. The best tables are the skybooths that overlook the dance floor. It is a cabana that allows seating up to 12 (but it doesn't you can have less than that), giving you enough room to dance and party.
  18. The top venues in Las Vegas at this point in time are: Tao, Tryst, Body English, Pure, and Jet. Of these venues, you would probably have the best time at Tao and Tryst. Tao is a restaurant/nightclub combination, with the restaurant being located on the first 2 stories, and the nightclub being located on the second 2 stories. Also, Tao also makes use of the lounge downstairs during the club hours. In the main room, the main genre of music played is top 40 with some rock. In the lounge, house is the main type of music played. Our other suggestion for you and your girls is Tryst at Wynn. Tryst is owned and operated by the same people who are responsible for Drai's afterhours which has a great reputation in Las Vegas as the longest running after hours spot. Tryst has picked up the title of the "sexiest" nightclub in Las Vegas. Tryst is a venue that is part indoor, part outdoor, with a view overlooking the man-made lake with a 40 foot waterfall. There are a number of tables outside to reserve for bottle service. For a bachelorette party, this would definitely be a top choice. If you have any other questions about these venues, or others, you can contact us at mr_vip_lasvegas@hotmail.com
  19. We are looking to use more limo drivers. Contact us to let us know what you had in mind. mr_vip_lasvegas@hotmail.com
  20. Studio 54 is a great club for that age group and music preference, and is probably your best choice next to VooDoo Lounge.
  21. lol. The bottom line is that people dont necessarily need to use a host to get a table, but it helps in some cases at certain venues.
  22. At both, Jet and Tryst, it is very easy to accommodate groups of all males, but you have to reserve a table. Jet gets extremely packed inside and outside so it is always best to either know someone, or go through a host. The hardest part about getting into Jet, is getting through the "VIP crowd" that's crowded around the ropes. There are ways around this, but you have to use a host. These clubs are 2 of the top 5 venues in Las Vegas. More than likely, if you walk up to the club with a group of 6 males, they won't pay much attention to you unless you give a sizeable tip to the doorman. Tao discourages groups of all males, but they make exceptions for certain people. We just had a party of 8 males do bottles with us a couple weeks ago at Tao, and we have a party of 6 males for next week. You will have to reserve a table, and the minimum will be 2 bottles.
  23. The new venue will be opening at the Palms later on this year. From what we hear, it will definitely be a crowd pleaser.
  24. Here is a post that I put up a couple weeks ago about Seamless: As far as afterhours spots, Seamless is quickly becoming very popular. We went to the grand opening Monday night about a month ago and it was slammed after being open for an hour. What's unique about the afterhours is that while the afterhours nightclub is going on, the two VIP rooms are dedicated to strippers and lap dances. This is convenient if someone gets tired of dancing and they feel like a stripper. Seamless takes care of both needs in one building.
  25. The top 5 clubs in Las Vegas at this point in time are: Tao, Pure, Tryst, Jet, and Body English. Of these venues, I would have to say that Tryst has the nicest VIP areas (tables and booths). The skybooths at Tao are also exceptional. The bottle ratio at Tryst is 3 people per 1 bottle so your bottle minimum at Tryst would be 3 bottles. If you wanted a skybooth at Tao, minimum is 4 bottles. If you are looking for beautiful women and luxury, one of these options is the way to go. If you want a venue that has great house music, you can't go wrong with Ice.
