Well if there was a party I don't think we should limit it to just one type of music - that's why it'd be cool to do a lot of 'requests' so we could hear each other's "songs"

Well Jim I think it would be kinda fun running around looking at name-tags to find out who the hell "jimk29" is. It'd be cool to put a face to the name for a change. I know, I know, cheesy idea but hey it was only an idea.

Hey - has anyone ever organized a "Club Planet - MY NAME IS...." party? Just some place small with the likes of Deepspell spinning some of our "favorites" so we can get to know each other & each other tastes? It'd be fun to dance with some of you guys just to see how you move and to see what you're all about. I know it's a cheesy idea but it'd be kind of fun running around with name-tags seeing who's who.

Hey I'm still wondering who's who on this board. If you're a DJ please state the type of music you spin and where you play and if you're a dancer please state the type of music you like and what clubs you dance at. I'm still trying to find where to go and this would help. ME: I'm a definite electro dancer. Went to Shelter (Area 10018) Friday night and that was cool (not exactly electro but it was still fun). Actually headed out Sunday night too and had the DJ thank me for dancing to his set (it was early and I was the only one on the floor). This could also be subtitled the "Slam-me-daily" if you guys feel the need.

My impression is that he's just a hardcore music freakazoid.

But don't worry the combonation of my "2 week fascination period" being almost over & the fact that I'm finding the scenes I want to be in will make this board obsolete.

M.A.N.D.Y. from the Get Physical label is going to be at Movida on Sunday night. Has anyone heard about this party? The first 12" I bought when I got back into music last year was DJ T's "Freemind" off of the Get Physical label so this party sounds like it could be fun. And besides it's the only "Electro" event that I've come across in this city. Check out the couple of tunes I have from the Get Physical label. Get this through your head Jim - fucking is the last thing on my mind - it's all about dancing to the music. I'd rather be the last one of the floor when the lights come up then head home with someone before the last song is played. To me, having that one chance to hear that one song that you really want to get down to makes all the difference in my nightlife.

Oh c'mon, you can't be that clueless. You can't tell me there's never been a str8 guy on this planet who hasn't had sex with a guy once or twice (esp if drugs are involved). It's a fact jack. Dudes - are you really this insecure about it? Please, I've turned down more than a couple of str8 guys in my life and they were beau and meant a lot more to me than you do. If I said no to them I highly doubt I'm going to be running after you to put you on my list. So CHILL about the homo thing.
