first of all, lets stop the who-has-more-crackheads drama. its been beat to death on this fucking board. secondly, that was a good review of JP. pangelid, like myself, obviously likes a different style of music than JP spins. i was there on sat. it was an avg nite for that place (not great, not terrible, just avg). some ppl really like the stuff JP does. the way pangelid described the JP is accurate. really, its not necessary to be a crackhead to love SF, but it sure helps. there are indeed many sunday morning moments when "the music was sooo mellow that you would absolutely flip out when a good hard song came on." that is precisely what some ppl love about SF/JP. its also what other ppl hate about JP. if you expect something "consistent" then you are at the wrong place. sounds like you got the full effect of what the place is all about. BTW, if you stayed much longer you would have gotten a more intense version of everything you just described. again, ppl who want to hear the JP style love 10 AM at the factory, while others who cant stand it at 4 AM will absolutely hate it six hours later. ------------------ i love music!

damnit zoya! why did you leave so early? i saw you across the room at vinyl when i first got there (around 4AM). my friends and i were headed to the bathrooms and i figured "well, if that really is zoya i can say 'hi' later, since this is such a small club i will see her again." but you left and i never got to say "hi." so... "hi zoya!" --- sirdantes reviews of vinyl and SF. i also really enjoyed fri nite at vinyl. it did suck until around 7 AM bc there were waaaayy too many ppl there. i think it was 10x as crowded (really!) as the last time i went; but the last time was b4 twilo closed so i guess the enormous crowd is normal now. i highly recommend to anyone who cant stand the heat and the crowd that they wait until later to go! it seemed that the more the morning wore on, the more ppl were there for just the music and dancing. also, mad props to that club for being so strict with drug control. its really nice to walk around a club without having to step over comatose bodies. comparing vinyl last fri to any nite i have been to certain other clubs makes me realize the difference between a drug den and a music lovers paradise. DT is the best of the best and i danced so much friday that i can barely walk today. saturday at SF was one of the better times i have had there. however thats not saying much bc i usually dont really like the place. i attribute my enjoyment to my GF and i sleeping until 7AM and then getting up to go to the club. it was still incredibly crowded when we got there, but by 9AM the place really thinned out. unfortunately, my own distain for monotonous house music makes me always wish for better song selection from the very talented mr peters. we left about an hour b4 closing bc we just arent into his style enuf to really appreciate the downtempo shit, IMO, that he started spinning. however, to be fair, the music was good if thats the kind of stuff you like. ------------------ i love music!

you are right, these are technically hookers, not strippers. however, since hiring hookers is illegal, it is common to call the hookers "strippers" to avoid talking openly about someting illegal. also, there are plenty of regular strippers who do private parties. not everyone who does private parties is a hooker, so its wrong to say "GIRLS WHO WORK AT BACKELOR PARTIES AND GIRLS WHO WORK OUT IN THE STREET ARE NO DIFFERENT." ------------------ i love music!

we all have sex pretty much the same way. however, there is a definite difference in how sex gets portrayed in pornos. black and white (or mixed) porn is different. the all black porn is usually a bit more aggressive and wild. this is bc it targets the audience of young, black men in the cites. cityfolk are usually more wild, so they like pornos that have alot more throwing around and such. asain porn is usually just like the white or mixed porn. it just has more asain chicks. asains are more of a minority in most parts of the country and therefore seem more exotic. also, theres some weird geisha girl attitude or perhaps even a western conqueror power trip still going on in white guys heads. ------------------ i love music!
