was she the girl w/ the huge platform boots? i hate ppl who are rude for no apparent reason. what are they trying to prove? def not me cuz i try to be nice to everyone i meet, & the crowd was nice there. ie The security guards kept asking how i was cuz i was in a lot of pain, that was very nice of them. the guys were nice too, i got some nice, respectful compliments. i wore a white skirt, purple shirt utterly freezing.

consider yourself lucky, i'm tired of seeing those tourist shirts when I go to work. i was on the left side of the stage if u face the dj area. i had an ankle injury so i would stand in front of the dj area then dance, then go back. now u know.

they have classes, I never went, but my co-worker likes the classes, they have the standard aerobics and yoga classes, taebo stuff, ... oh, a correction, my last annual bill was ~$165.00. the good thing about ballys is u pay $30-45 a month for 3 yrs, after that u pay a flat annual rate as a thank u for your support. for that price w/ good equipment it's not a bad deal especially w/ this economy. they give lots of guest passes too. i go to a few bally's, 1 in queens, elmhurst, qns blvd cuz, & 2 in manhattan - 1 on 55th, another on 50th st? or is it 49? depending on my mood.

i pay ~$145.00/ yr for bally premier membership. i like the ones in manhattan cuz i can work out and go home quickly. it's a dirty club but the equipment is good and fairly cheap. there isn't even any eye candy. they make it seem nice in the tv advertisements, but it is not true from my experience. did they close the one on 32nd st?

me too. the stage was hot and sweaty. all those ppl punching left & right & leaving their cans on the stage, & they spilled drinks on it too. please. right when u get off stage to the floor it was freezing. which jackass doing the guido punch? there were many. i'm already counting the days until the next one. i can't wait!!!

so funny! i was dancing on the stage and those guys kept running up and down and were in front of the speakers. did u notice the guys wearing them were skinny little guys... yuck.... they looked like they were having fun so that's cool. at least they didn't wear that annoying "i survived the blackout shirt".

perhaps you have been there for a while? what don't u like about bay ridge? i like it, maybe i've been watching saturday night fever one too many times. i like that park which has the varrazano bridge in front. i love astoria, however i can't speak my native language cuz they're all greek or from a former yugoslavian province. In bay ridge i got around without speaking a word of english. I couldn't believe it. they're a lot more friendly too.

breakdancing is alive and kicking. There were breakdancing all night at roxy. there are those kids that breakdance near 34th st too for a few years now.

IT WAS FREEZING!!!!! I injured my ankle (and therefore didn't want to dance) but it was the only way I could prevent myself from freezing.

I can't remember the last time i had that much fun. Excellent excellent music. I thought the crowd was a decent, mixed crowd. not like at other places where there is a "xyz section", "abc section". WTF is up w/ the sound system there? like twice the songs got cut off and just stopped for a few seconds. and all those guys wearing "magic stick" shirts w/ arrows pointing down. thin meathead crowd is true, but they were funny to watch. Unbelieveable night. I'm already looking forward to the next one.

there's the roxy on fri, what else? this is our last weekend of fun before university starts for some of us. any suggestions since there is no centro fly or arc? thanx a lot

that's not always true. Bactine made them irritated. The triclosan soap was fine, but the bactine was so troublesome and painful I stopped using it. I know cuz i had a lot too. I took them out and luckily they closed. i don't want to be 40 years old with holes in my nipples and private parts.
