Yes but in my case I say skip "general line" because OPM allows 1000 people to enter on the guest list side (usually only 200 to 300 actually show up on the guest list) but that still creates a small guest list line at times.

Skip general line means you don't wait in the main line, but go straight to VIP on the left side which is generally right in or only a small line (less than 5 minutes).

I believe Pure only opens one room on Sundays, not sure. OPM is a locals reggae/hip-hop party and is a nice change of pace (more reggae) and some space to move - not as packed as the other nights but still a party, especially midnight to 3am. The walk is about 8 minutes between the spots.

It's ok - sounded like you had a GREAT time doing what you ended up doing. You did miss out on the fun company of Sparklette at OPM, but there's always another time By the way, I was in YOUR neck of the woods yesterday LaLate!! Visited L.A. area to spend an afternoon at Magic Mountain. That place is completely sick. Went back to the hotel around 9pm, turned on the TV, to see the scariest thing I have ever seen --- big red letters stating TSUNAMI WARNING SanFran to LosAngeles 9:23pm impact due to an earthquake 90 miles west of the beach! The warning was then rescinded but damn -talk about scaring the crap out of people!!!

Nope, even the Carnegie Deli is different - at the Mirage a corn beef and pastrami was only $15, in NYC it's about $25. And at the Mirage when I asked for russian and slaw the waitress looked at me like I was from Mars. But most important, they don't even serve a bucket of week old pickles at the table, so you're still hungry by the time you eat your sandwich - nothing like NY I tell you!

Tuesday Pure main room mostly hip-hop, The Beach all hip-hop (no dress code beware) Wednesday Tangerine main room mostly hip-hop. Thursday (no more Ra). OPM all hip-hop big night. Beach all hip-hop (no dress code beware) Friday SRO (no dress code beware), OPM all hip-hop, most major clubs play mostly hip-hop. Saturday Same as Friday Sunday OPM hip-hop and reggae, Seven all hip-hop (no dress code beware), Body English and Light mostly hip-hop and mashups.

I don't believe they are open on Thursdays but their Pussycat Lounge is open.

OPM does not allow re-entry. Also the doors close at 3am even though the club goes until about 6am. I would suggest hitting OPM before midnight if possible. It's a good way to enjoy the club before it gets too crazy. I have been told by many that first time visitors enjoy the club more when they come earlier because it gets pretty intense after midnight, and there isn't too much room to get comfortable after that.

Ra is not doing hip-hop anymore. OPM has been OFF THE MEAT CHAIN both Thursdays since Ra changed it up.

I can't speak for the other clubs, but if you want to all get into OPM (the hottest hip-hop club) for free plus skip the line, plus free champagne until midnight, then just sign up at www.o-pm.com/index2.html We see about an average of 5 to 10 bachelorette parties a weekend night. Should be a GREAT time!

LaLate, thank you for such a great detailed trip review. And thank you for the kind words as well. Just a small FYI - you do not need to walk through Caesars or the whole forum shops to get to OPM if you just ask a cab to drop you off at the forum shops - then the walk is a minute or two and you're there. Some cabbies even know how to get to "exit 13" in the forum shops and you are dropped off right in front of the club. Regardless, thanks for coming in and I'm glad it worked out. Unbelievable weekend -- Caesars was definitely one of the hot spots. Pure had its best night ever I heard. And OPM was just sick. Some people who got to OPM at 11:30 didn't even get inside until after 3am. I seriously don't understand how anybody can wait that long to get into a club!

Here's some advice. Don't wear a t-shirt or sneakers and then it won't matter. It's Vegas. It's a holiday weekend. Get dressed. Look good.

Yeah Tony (LaLate) made it to OPM last night. It was insanity last night but he was set up nicely. He enjoyed the ratios early but I didn't see him later. The Ra crowd showed up so I hope we didn't scare Tony away

thanks for the sites, I am going to be out there the 2nd thru 5th of june, what is cost for vip into opm? I also wanted to ask ya, which is the best nights to go to Tabu and 54, a friend of mine just started doing some events there and told me to check out those clubs too while I am there. VIP (as in tables) is $100 host fee for your party + one bottle per 4 people. Bottles start at $265. Tabu -> Thursday Studio -> Tuesday and Saturday

I am amazed that a club would drop a night that has packed its venue to capacity for seven straight years ON A WEEKNIGHT with NO ADVERTISING!
