  1. Tommy Lee wow. Listening to his djing is quite an experience, not exactly a good one.
  2. I think you have a good schedule either way. You can hit up OPM Friday early and then Pure since both clubs are in Caesars. For a group of 10 looking to do bottles early, I can probably get you a great deal. Let me know. djmw@freevegasclubs.com DJ MasterWeb OPM Nightclub
  3. Much better choices available in town right now. All those spots are packed Saturday. Greenie mentioned Sunday being packed but he meant Saturday (typo I'm sure). At OPM you CAN get a drink within 15 minutes, especially if you go to the bar in the back room. At OPM, one bottle per 3 people. Bottles start at about $300 each. Table fee about $150. Tips included. Guest lists and passes will get you in free or discounted but I wouldn't count on them to skip the line.
  4. Curious, do you offer free rides for door help? I never comp or slide drivers at OPM unless they bring a party of paying customers or hot women with them.
  5. Superstar hip-hop party rockers Warren Peace and Mr. Bob return to OPM this Thursday May 4 !! This party is hosted by yours truly, DJ MasterWeb, so you KNOW it's gonna be CRACKIN! Warren and Bob are the guys who brought the longest running hip-hop party in Vegas history, seven years in the "pyramid" every Thursday night to a packed hyphy crowd. Now you can enjoy their amazing show at your favorite upscale hip-hop club, OPM. And you already know how we do. OPM and DJ MasterWeb always deliver the party as advertised. Don't take your chances somewhere else and stand around wondering This is the perfect way to kick off the huge fight weekend. Thursday May 4 will be the ONLY night all weekend that OPM builds a guest list ... The guest list is good from 10pm to 11pm only and allows all ladies in free, all fellas in half price. Plus it skips the general line. Everyone must be in proper dress code. For this event, you can send an email to djmw@freevegasclubs.com if you want to be added to the guest list. You must include your FULL NAME and number of guests. Or call 702-369-4998. Please only add your name if you're definitely coming to the party because this list WILL fill up quickly! 7. Most club tickets and passes do exactly what they say they do. Yes there's conditions just like coupons or any free offer in any form, since few things in the world are completely free, but usually the conditions on tickets are straight forward. Common limitations on club tickets: Times to arrive usually before a certain time. Dress code still applies. Capacity still applies. Management reserves rights. Holidays and Special events generally excluded. Line pass is only valid when the ticket specifically says line pass or front of line priveleges. With that said, to many people, the tickets are completely sufficient, since they are usually distributed free or at a low price. For people who want a higher level of service from a host or "limo driver" then the price goes up substantially since it involves higher club costs and often middle man charges for outside hosts. To each his/her own. Just realize that some people want to enjoy the club and are willing to follow a few conditions to save some money at the door. It's all a matter of preference. Try charging a limo driver at the door and watch their true personal preferences come to life
  8. Preferences? Scene? Vibe? Crowd? Music? Have you spent any time reading all the posts on this board discussing this very topic. We can give you about ten recommendations for each night, but if you give us a hint what you're looking for, I bet we can narrow it down to a few good suggestions.
  9. Depends on the weekend. My spot was charging $200 for skip/entry last fight weekend. Also, on a holiday $50 cover and $100 slide is reasonable at the top spots.
  10. How does B.E., Tao, Tryst and Jet cater to large male groups?
  11. We drop some west coast hip-hop like that in the main room on Saturday. The Thursday old school room really focuses on the "grown and sexy" crowd looking for R&B and jams. It has become more loungy in that room since our main focus for dancing and harder hip-hop is in the main room.
  12. Venetian has a better chance to tap into the younger party demo during the summer months when their rooms aren't booked with the convention crowd. Should be interesting.
  13. Not sure about cabs, but I would assume cabbies will be available. The club is about a couple miles off the strip on Flamingo. Their good night is Saturday.
  14. Pure and Studio attract a primarily white crowd. OPM and 702 are the only clubs in town that cater to a diverse urban crowd for whatever it's worth, but neither club is open Tuesday. Pics on www.napkinnights.com pretty much sum it up even though I often feel most of the dimes at OPM are not photographed for some reason, no offense intended. I think the approach is more difficult in an urban setting.
  15. Beach Tuesdays no longer include hip-hop. They removed hip-hop from their lineup when the Jeezy concert resulted in some chaos a few months ago. The only parties that bring that type of Vibe are club 702 Friday/Saturday (no dress code) and OPM Thursday through Sunday (with a much more upscale dress code / environment than Beach). As far as Tuesdays , Pure's main room is primarily hip-hop and it's packed but the music is hit or miss and the crowd is not urban. Studio 54 is less packed, an older crowd, but always a good dj who rocks some decent hip-hop/mashups along with dance and house.
  16. Rain still does their damn thing too. People still associate that club with MTV. Lots of young party people still hit that place up.
  17. Ra isn't hip-hop anymore and they are dead most of the time. OPM offers the only real hip-hop party in town without the rock and mashups, a diverse well dressed crowd, and a very busy party Thursday through Sunday. www.o-pm.com

  19. Bikinis has been closed for months now.
  20. Sorry about that news. Good look with your future endeavors.
  21. Yes, Duanne's situation hurt some nights, but Ra's Thursday night was crackin and gaining momentum for a long while after the Duanne King situation. When MGM took over the Luxor (last summer), they fired the whole Thursday night hip-hop crew (Mr. Bob, Warren Peace and all the promoters) which COMPLETELY and INSTANTLY alienated their Thursday night crowd, who had patronized the club for a strong seven (or so) years. Their Thursday night was the top night of the week for years. Most of that crowd has moved on to OPM (for hip-hop) and the other newer clubs in town for the new parties. If you want the hip-hop vibe like Ra Thursday, OPM Fri/Sat is your new choice but the dress code is much stricter and don't even think about bringing any herb.
  22. There's a club "NINE" ?? Where's that?
  23. Is Jet open Sundays now?
